Content delivery network

A distributed network that delivers content from locations closer to visitors. It often caches eligible responses, reducing repeated trips to the original server. What can be cached and for how long depends on the configured rules.

In a real project

A workshop's public banner image can be served from a nearby cached copy. An individual student's private booking response needs different handling.

A common mistake

Assuming every response should be shared in a cache. Private or personalized responses need rules that prevent one visitor from receiving another's data.
