File storage
A place to keep file contents such as photos, recordings or documents. Object storage identifies each stored object by a key within a bucket and can attach metadata and access rules to it.
You might see: object storage, file bucket, blob storage
In a real project
A workshop photo is stored as an object. A database record separately keeps its caption and the object key so the application can locate the right image.
A common mistake
Making a bucket public to fix an access problem. Decide which files should be public and use appropriate permission or temporary access for private ones.
