Database
An organized collection of data that an application can query and update. A relational database organizes records into tables, connects them through keys and can enforce constraints that protect valid relationships and values.
You might see: data store, relational database, DB
In a real project
The workshop keeps students, sessions and bookings in connected tables. A booking refers to the relevant student and session instead of repeating their details everywhere.
A common mistake
Treating the database as a spreadsheet anyone may edit. Define data constraints, access rules and a recovery plan for changes.
