Continuous integration

A workflow that automatically runs defined checks when code changes are integrated or proposed. It can build the project, analyze code and run tests, giving you evidence about a particular source version.

You might see: CI, CI pipeline, automated checks

In a real project

A workshop booking change triggers a build and tests. The report identifies which commit passed and which check failed, so a reviewer can investigate that candidate.

A common mistake

Reading a green report as proof that nothing can break. It covers the configured checks and source version, not every behavior or a different deployed commit.
